Minion Skateboards or Birmingham Alabama is about to make a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!! We will be rolling out NEW products, a NEW look, and NEW management beginning this August just in time for our 1 Year Anniversary!!!

Expect HUGE sales, discounts all around and TONS of FREE GEAR!! We have spent the ENTIRE MONTH OF JULY making products in anticipation for our re-launch and will begin rolling out "The New Minion" in the coming days, weeks and months. Several things will be changing with our company so you will need to stay subscribed to our feeds including our blog which is listed above.

NEWS:

MinionSkateboards.com will be down for a period of 2-3 Weeks. Many of you will remember we went down around this time last year but this time it will NOT take as long to come back online. We are working on our servers as we move to a bigger and better office space. So please be aware that MinionSkateboards.com and its email will not be working during this time. HOWEVER we will set up an alternative website soon so you will still be able to contact us.

MinionRetail.com is a website started by our parent company Minion Inc. The purpose of this website is to help retailers see what is available, our prices and our terms. Ordering through Minion directly will ultimately save you money and time so please visit this website for more information.

SCHEDULE:

Minion Skateboards is slowly but surely coming back from the dead after our departure this July to focus on our products and our management. To get everything back online we are setting up several NEW features. Our CEO will begin to do a daily live chat with everyone through our Ustream page and our StickAm page. He will also begin a daily chat through one of our meebo chats. The schedule for this will be as follows:

Ustream- Wednesday 2:00p-3:00p Central Time
StickAm- Monday 11:00a-12:00Noon Central Time

If you would like to discuss anything with our CEO do it here as he will address everything Live. He is currently dealing with a family member who is gravely ill and will most likely be broadcasting from either his house or their house so it could be loud with kids screaming just ignore them.

Everyday Mon-Friday Minion Skateboards will be signed into our meebo chat. You will be able to find this chat on our myspace profile (www.myspace.com/minionskateboards) all you will have to do is start typing and we will respond and chat with you about anything and everything. Someone will be signed into the Meebo chat Monday-Friday 9:00a-10:00a Central Standard Time. This chat is the exact chat we had on our website before we took it down. So if you have anything and you wish to address it with us try our chat if it does not show up as "green" when you view it then we are offline and your message will NOT reach us.

Minion Skateboards will be fully functional in the coming days. We have fixed many of our internal problems we no longer handle shipping and have contracted it fully with the most trusted name in shipping that being United Parcel Service (UPS). We also have updated our refund policy to expedite things in a timely fashion.

Minion Skateboards is almost finished with its rebuilding and we are anxious to get out and start kicking ass but we have a few more things to wrap up. We are moving into our new office and our servers will soon go offline for a slight upgrade but fear not when they come back online we will be a bigger, better company.

To reward those who have stated by our side we will be selling our skateboards at a VERY low price we will not post the price but every subscriber will get a message in their email about the price and where you can get them.


We have everything ready to show the world that Minion Skateboards is in fact a REAL company and we are READY to be taken SERIOUS. We are ready to stop kicking ass and can not wait to get out there and do it!!!

We know that a lot of you have been wondering about Minion and what is going on and its really very easy to sum up. We are rebuilding our company and creating one of the best, kick ass companies in the skateboard industry. We are about to move into our new 10,000 sqft office on top of getting our new machines and everything up and running.

We will be launching a new website soon with a new look thanks to a kick ass design team in Florida. We will also be debuting TONS of new merchandise including wheels, shirts, completes, trucks and so much more!

Minion Skateboards Ceasing Online Operations

Minion Skateboards of Birmingham Alabama has had to stop all online operations in its efforts to rebuild and regroup the company that has grown so quickly since going live in 2008. Minion Skateboards will re-emerge from this regroup in August 2009 but will shut down all websites, emails and other means of contact during the rebuild. See the memo posted on minionskateboards.com for details. This memo will also be posted here later.

It has become apparent to Minion Inc the parent company of Minion Skateboards that we need to re-evaluate and re-launch. We are still having problems with our shipping software, our refund managers and many other internal problems. We are addressing these problems and hope to re-launch in July.
